Chef Jeffrey Barbas worked in the kitchens of Peter Merriman - one of the founding fathers of Hawaiian Regional cuisine. He lives in Kona coffee country with his wife, Lisa (also a chef who lends us a hand during the holidays) and identical twin sons, Joel and West. Jeff and Lisa met while attending the California Culinary Academy.

Chef Chris Crookston, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, comes to us from Philadelphia, where he was sous chef at Georges Perrier’s landmark restaurant Le Bec Fin.
